Ramon Humet started studying shakuhachi in 2004 with Horacio Curti.
Currently, he continues the in-depth study of the koten
honkyoku repertoire with Kakizakai Kaoru sensei. Also, Ramon is a
professional composer, with works premiered by the Montreal
Symphony Orchestra, the London Sinfonietta, the Latvian Radio Choir
or the Spanish National Orchestra, among others. He also teaches
composition for all kinds of instrumental and vocal formations, including
composition for shakuhachi. Ramon loves teaching the wonderful
honkyoku repertoire steeped in the oldest Zen spirit!
